Derrick Rose fined for speed driving
A contrite Derrick Rose said Tuesday night that his charge for allegedly driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 88 was ''a big mistake'' that he vowed never to repeat.
Rose, 19, must appear in Kane County Court this month after he was ticketed for driving about 105 mph in a 65 mph zone while heading east on I-88 about two months ago, acknowledged Rose and Terry Ekl, a lawyer representing Rose.
